Eighteen renditions, zero uploads.
Resizing one brand asset for every social placement is a whole afternoon, repeated forever. We built a tool that does the whole set in one pass — eighteen platform-perfect renditions across six platforms — entirely inside the browser, with no server to upload a brand asset to.
The system, in 60 seconds · Client: Luxury car brand, via agency
Before and after
What changed.
Before
- Manual resizing and re-cropping for every placement, every time
- Platform specs drifting out of date in a shared document
- Brand assets uploaded to third-party tools to be processed
- Inconsistent crops reaching production
- A repeatable task consuming design time indefinitely
After
- Eighteen renditions across six platforms generated in one pass
- Platform specs encoded in the tool, not remembered by a person
- Nothing uploaded — every asset stays inside the browser
- Consistent, spec-correct output every run
- Downloaded as a single archive, ready to hand off
What we built
The system, module
by module.
One-pass batch export
Every required rendition produced in a single run from one source asset.
Encoded platform specs
Six platforms' dimensions held in the tool, so nobody has to look them up.
Client-side processing
Rendering, cropping and packaging done in the browser via canvas.
Zero API routes
No backend exists to receive an asset — privacy by architecture, not by policy.
Archive download
The full set delivered as one archive, ready for handover.
Deterministic crops
The same source produces the same output on every run and every machine.
How it is built
The engineering underneath.
Application
Browser-only web app — canvas rendering, in-browser archive packaging
Backend
None. Zero API routes; no asset is transmitted anywhere
Delivery
Static hosting on managed edge infrastructure
Questions
About this
engagement.
If you are weighing something similar, ask us directly. We answer scoping questions before there is a contract in sight.
Talk to usWhat does the luxury car brand image resizer do?
It takes one brand asset and produces eighteen platform-perfect renditions across six social platforms in a single pass, delivered as one downloadable archive.
Where are the images processed?
Entirely in the browser. The application has zero API routes — there is no backend to receive an image, so a brand asset is never transmitted to a server at any point.
Why build it client-side instead of as a service?
Because the strongest data-handling guarantee is an architecture that cannot leak. If no server ever receives the file, there is no upload to secure, no retention policy to audit and no third party to trust.
